Dakeita Leak is a North Carolina native who has spent the last 10 years helping underprivileged families acquire the necessary tools to be productive.
After a few trials of her own, she was introduced to the field of substance abuse where she fell in love with children who suffer with SUDs. As a clinical assistant with the Dilworth Center, she assesses the needs of prospective patients and is responsible for patient admissions, case management, intake coordination, and community referrals. Ms. Leak is driven to help adolescents beat the disease of addiction by building up their self-worth and self-esteem.
